The Rev. Les Carpenter believes in the power of a good laugh and the grace found in a "yes, &..." life. A fun-loving and gentle soul, Les is a celebrated speaker and the author of The Gospel According to Improv. He joined our parish in the summer of 2024, bringing over a decade of experience leading and growing a vibrant congregation in Texas.

Les is married to the Rev. Becky Zartman Carpenter, the priest at Good Shepherd in Rocky Mount. Together, they lead a busy, blended family with three children. Whether at home or in the sanctuary, they are dedicated to a life of laughter, play, prayer, and service.
